Please note that Bristol Twestival Local will now take place at Metropolis, 135-137 Cheltenham Road, Bristol, BS6 5RR
This year, the Twestival falls during Bristol Fashion Week, so they’ve invited me along with a very special mission...
Those of you who attended last year might recognise me as ‘goodie bag girl’ but this year I’m taking on a different role – from now on, just call me ‘Glam Spy’.
While unsuspecting Bristolians are quaffing their pints, shaking their money makers to the sounds of Dub Mafia, and trying their best to win some of the fab prizes on offer, I’ll be there, camera in hand, watching it all. Not like that you understand - I’m not a creepy peepy. I’ll be documenting your fabulous fashions for a new Bristol based street style website.
MyStreetChic is a new fashion site with a simple aim - it’s place where you can Love It, Wear It and Share It. We’ll be featuring the latest fashion and beauty trends, and looking at how the ladies of Bristol are adapting them in their own unique ways. You’ll also be able to vote for your favourite local styles and upload pics of your own fashion finds.
The site is being created as we speak by the fine folks at Horizon New Media in Bath and it’s due to launch in the summer. In the meantime, you can check out our progress and find out what’s hot in Bristol on our blog site, http://bristolfashionista.wordpress.com/
We’re bored of models – we want real people! So make sure you dust off your best glad rags and practice your poses because, Bristol, I’ll be watching you...
